Job Overview
Canac is seeking a dedicated Magazine Keeper to join their team in Drummondville, Quebec. This full-time, onsite position involves managing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring the efficient flow of parts and supplies within a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office, supply area, or warehouse.
- Manage inventory control systems and keep accurate records of stock.
- Generate requisition orders for restocking necessary parts and supplies.
- Receive, unpack, sort, and organize incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
- Facilitate the shipping, delivery, or pickup of parts, products, and equipment.
- Properly store items within the warehouse, tool room, or designated supply areas.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift is essential.
- A valid driver's license is necessary for transportation and travel duties.
- Must be comfortable working in environments with heights, confined spaces, and dust.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to handle deadlines and manage tasks under pressure.
- Must be able to lift and move items weighing more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Required to wear steel-toed safety boots.
