Position summary

This opportunity is for a Logistics Associate to join the Supply Chain team in Makkah Region. The role centers on day-to-day logistics support, inventory oversight, shipment handling, customs coordination, and tracking of material movements. It suits someone who is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and compliance matter.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and coordinate the documentation needed for shipping and customs so goods can be released without delay.
Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners to keep shipments moving smoothly.
Keep logistics and inventory records updated accurately and promptly.
Assist with production control, inventory control, and purchasing-related activities to support efficient operations.
Compile monthly reports covering materials and equipment, including spare parts, tools, and testing equipment.
Receive, check, count, and log inventory items in line with company procedures.
Distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies only against approved requests.
Track incoming and outgoing goods carefully to support replenishment and correct stock placement.
Work with third-party logistics providers on material receipt activities.
Maintain complete records for shipping papers, transport costs, vendor deliveries, and supplier invoices.
Provide accurate transportation and logistics cost details to billing and finance teams.
Follow company policies, internal processes, and all relevant regulatory requirements in every logistics activity.

Qualifications and experience

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field. Equivalent education combined with relevant work experience may also be accepted.

Experience

The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory handling, or a related area. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Skills and competencies

The role calls for strong coordination, planning, and administrative capabilities, along with the ability to handle several priorities at once. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required, and prior exposure to ERP platforms, especially SAP, is beneficial. A practical understanding of inventory control, purchasing, transportation, and customs processes is also important.
