About the Role

This role sits within DNV Business Assurance in Doha, which delivers management system certification and training services across the Middle East, with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. The company is seeking a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Prior lead auditor training experience in QES would be an added advantage.

The position is based in Doha and will primarily involve local audits, though assignments in other GCC countries may also be required depending on business needs. The auditor will be expected to conduct audits and training mainly across GCC markets, work independently and professionally, and demonstrate a strong grasp of quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems.

The ideal candidate should also be a strong communicator who is proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, and highly focused on customer needs. Expatriate hires will be offered an expatriate contract with family status.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Auditor will carry out audits and training assignments across GCC countries, with a main base in Doha.

The role requires independent and professional leadership of audits related to quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems.

The selected professional will also coordinate with the local accreditation body for renewal of accreditation.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering and have at least 4 years of industrial experience related to quality, environment, and occupational health & safety management systems.

Experience in third-party auditing for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 is required. Exposure to ISO 50001, ISO 55001, and ISO 22301 will be considered an advantage.

Strong English communication skills and a willingness to travel within GCC countries are also necessary.
