Role overview
GSF Car Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road and at customer premises. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering parts efficiently, maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing customer and competitor insights back to the branch. The role plays an important part in keeping deliveries on schedule and supporting a high-performing team.
Key duties
- Transport products to customer locations within a 40-mile radius of the branch.
- Provide consistently high standards of customer service during every delivery.
- Share relevant feedback with the branch regarding customers and competitor activity.
- Load the vehicle in line with company procedures.
- Pick up customer returns whenever required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and support basic vehicle upkeep.
- Assist in the warehouse when needed.
- Support inter-branch transfer deliveries as required.
Working pattern
The role involves an average of 41 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays included.
What you need to succeed
You should be customer-oriented, able to work to deadlines, and committed to excellent service. A strong knowledge of the branch’s 40-mile operating area is important, along with proven delivery driving experience and a willingness to go the extra mile.
