Data Analyst

Overview

This role is for a Data Analyst position supporting a Haystack partner in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The position is focused on collecting, validating, interpreting, and reporting operational and performance data in a fast-moving federal setting.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the gathering, checking, and evaluation of operational and performance data.
• Help maintain dashboards and prepare recurring reports.
• Carry out analysis work using SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Build and refine reports, charts, and statistical summaries.
• Assist with data integration activities and ETL workflows.
• Track data quality issues and support follow-up actions to resolve them.

What You’ll Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Information Systems.
• Hands-on ability with common analysis tools including Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, or R.
• Solid analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced federal environment.
• An active Secret Clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
