About the Role
This position sits within the Loss Prevention & Security team at Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Dubai. The role is focused on safeguarding guests, associates, and property while supporting a smooth and secure hotel environment. The schedule is full time and the role is non-management. This is an on-site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
What You’ll Do
- Cover the property by patrolling designated areas and helping guests access rooms when needed.
- Observe CCTV feeds, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and the fire and life safety system.
- Secure entrances when required and carry out regular checks for physical hazards.
- Respond to emergencies, including incidents requiring EMS support or first aid/CPR.
- Support guests and employees during urgent or unsafe situations and escalate incidents appropriately.
- Manage disturbances, interruptions, complaints, and unwelcome persons while keeping operations orderly.
- Coordinate outside assistance when necessary and use the correct communication codes for incidents.
- Attend vehicle accident and theft scenes and complete the required incident reporting.
- Prepare loss prevention shift summaries and daily activity reports.
- Keep security records and reports confidential and share information only with authorized people.
- Carry out investigations, collect evidence, and interview relevant individuals when needed.

- Follow company policies, procedures, safety rules, and training requirements at all times.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance and protect company property and assets.
- Greet guests in line with brand standards and respond to service needs with professionalism and courtesy.
- Communicate clearly in speech and writing, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Support team goals, comply with quality standards, and assist with other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Remain standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, including entire shifts when required.
- Read detailed information in different formats, inspect equipment visually, and use computers or point-of-sale systems to record information.
- Move quickly in response to work situations and handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and reaching.
- Work in narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stair-filled areas when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- No prior related work experience is required.
- No supervisory background is required.
- No license or certification is mandatory, although some locations may require additional licensing or registration.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow procedures, and work safely and professionally.
- Comfort with physical activity, observation-based work, and using computers for reports and records.
