tix.africa is hiring an energetic and goal-oriented Business Development Associate in Ghana. This position is centered on revenue growth through new client acquisition in the events space. The person in this role will identify prospects, approach event organisers and partners, present the platform confidently, and convert interest into signed business.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, has a strong commercial mindset, and is motivated by helping creators and event businesses deliver memorable experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process, from prospecting and first contact through to deal closure.
- Find, evaluate, and bring on board event organisers, venues, and corporate clients for ticketing and event management services.
- Run engaging product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the platform’s value.
- Create and implement outreach plans that expand the sales pipeline and bring in new customers.
- Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain strong client relationships and share customer feedback that can help improve the product and user experience.
- Record outreach activity, pipeline status, and won deals accurately in CRM systems.
- Track developments in Ghana’s events, entertainment, and ticketing markets.

Requirements

- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with leadership, marketing, operations, and other teams.
- Excellent written, spoken, and presentation communication skills.
- Highly organised, self-driven, and able to work independently while taking full ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable working with CRM platforms and managing sales pipelines.
- Genuine interest in events, technology, and building tools that support creators.
- Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
