About the internshipThis is a full-time, in-office internship in equity dealing with a proprietary trading setup. The role is centered on fast and accurate trade execution, close market monitoring, and disciplined coordination with traders and control teams. The business operates in India’s equity and derivatives markets with a strong emphasis on research-led decision-making, algorithmic execution, and strict risk control.The organization works across NSE and BSE and treats trading as capital allocation rather than speculation. Positions are managed through predefined risk limits, systematic checks, and live oversight. Trading approaches include intraday, swing, and algorithmic strategies, supported by modeling and market microstructure analysis.Key responsibilitiesSelected interns will support the trading desk by executing orders, tracking live market conditions, and ensuring that trade instructions are carried out precisely and without delay. The role demands sharp attention, speed, and the ability to stay composed during volatile sessions.Place buy and sell orders quickly and accurately as directed by traders, keeping execution delays to a minimum.Stay alert throughout market hours to avoid mistakes and maintain high execution accuracy.Work with Futures & Options, especially index derivatives such as Nifty, Bank Nifty, and Sensex.Track order status continuously and coordinate on modifications, cancellations, and timely execution updates.Enter trades correctly while following internal risk controls and exchange-level compliance requirements.Use strong typing speed to support rapid order placement during active and volatile market periods.Handle trading tools such as NEST, ODIN, XTS, and Greeksoft with working familiarity.Monitor live prices, market depth, and movement patterns to aid execution decisions.Keep trade records organized and support reconciliation work when needed.Communicate clearly with traders, operations staff, and risk teams to keep workflows aligned.Protect confidential information related to strategies, clients, and company operations.Perform reliably under pressure, especially when market activity is intense.Follow exchange rules, internal policies, and operating procedures at all times.Escalate execution errors, software problems, or trade mismatches immediately to the appropriate team members.Who can applyThis opportunity is open to candidates who can commit to a full-time, on-site internship, begin between 28 May 2026 and 2 Jul 2026, and stay for 3 months. Applicants must be based in Noida and should bring relevant skills and interest in trading.
