In this role, you will turn complex technical information into documentation that is easy to follow, well organized, and useful for both internal teams and external audiences. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA specialists to ensure technical details are captured accurately and communicated clearly. The position sits in a fast-moving, product-focused environment where documentation spans APIs, system logic, integrations, and user journeys. - Study technical specifications, requirements, APIs, and system behavior to create documentation that is accurate and dependable.
- Work with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to collect, verify, and refine technical information.
- Produce documentation for APIs, integrations, workflow logic, configuration rules, error handling, edge cases, and release updates.
- Audit existing content and strengthen it for consistency, precision, readability, and alignment with internal standards.
- Take part in technical reviews, peer reviews, and documentation planning meetings to maintain strong quality.
- Create and maintain documentation templates, style guidance, terminology rules, and best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts and help improve documentation workflows across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Technical Writer or in a closely related documentation role.
- Hands-on experience producing both user-oriented materials and developer-facing documentation such as guides, manuals, and API references.
- Comfort using documentation tools such as Confluence, Notion, Document360, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of project tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Basic ability to use visual or screenshot tools such as Snagit, Lightshot, or PickPick to make documentation clearer.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and how technical teams operate.
- Strong writing ability with the skill to break down complicated technical topics into simple language.
- Careful attention to detail and consistency in wording and terminology.
- Good analytical ability and the capacity to work through large amounts of technical information.
- Intermediate-level English or higher.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional teams while also being effective independently.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills to manage several documentation tasks at once.
