About the Organization

Alter Domus is a global provider of integrated services for the alternative investment sector, supporting a large share of leading private markets asset managers across many jurisdictions. The company emphasizes merit-based growth, open communication, and individual development, with a workplace culture built around support, progression, and inclusion.

Role Overview

The Security Testing Senior Analyst will report to the Attack Surface Reduction Senior Manager and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing offensive security work. The role centers on shaping red-team and adversarial simulation engagements, managing schedules and stakeholders, tracking remediation, and making sure penetration testing programs are delivered smoothly and aligned to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the scope of red-team and adversarial simulation exercises by setting objectives, targets, timelines, and rules of engagement.
  • Work with business teams, IT groups, and leadership to collect requirements, understand operational limits, and align testing with risk priorities.
  • Create organized engagement plans covering resources, attack paths, testing timelines, and expected outputs.
  • Act as the main contact for the engagement from start to finish, ensuring communication stays clear and decisions are recorded.
  • Monitor remediation work so findings are assigned, tracked, and closed within agreed service levels.
  • Run regular remediation review meetings with stakeholders to check progress and help resolve issues.
  • Keep an accurate tracker covering planning, scheduling, resource use, remediation status, and operational metrics.
  • Assist with, and at times lead, technical activities such as reconnaissance, vulnerability checks, and support for tester access and logistics.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and executive summaries that explain risk, findings, remediation progress, and testing results.
  • Work closely with security operations, detection engineering, and infrastructure teams to feed lessons learned into continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay current on emerging threats, industry practices, and new offensive security methods.
  • Help improve offensive security governance through better processes, documentation, and reporting automation.
  • Balance strong security outcomes with the operational needs and experience of internal customers.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or comparable experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, vulnerability management, or similar roles. Experience in planning technical security assessments such as red-team exercises, adversarial simulations, or penetration tests is important, as is the ability to communicate technical findings in business terms and coordinate across functions.

Required Knowledge and Tools

A strong grasp of offensive security concepts, common attack techniques, and the general testing lifecycle is expected. Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10, NIST, CIS, and ISO security standards is preferred. Strong organization, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential, especially when managing multiple engagements at once.

Certifications

Security+, CySA+, GSEC, OSCP, CRTO, or similar certifications are considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The gross monthly salary for this role is EUR 3,000 to EUR 4,580, depending on skills and experience.
