About Chainlink
Chainlink is a widely adopted oracle platform that connects capital markets to blockchain networks and supports much of decentralized finance. The Security Team
The security organization protects Chainlink Labs’ people, systems, and infrastructure from internal and external threats. It does this through focused security engineering, modern security technologies, proactive policy work, and company-wide training that helps maintain a strong security culture while keeping the organization responsive and accessible.
About the Role
Chainlink Labs is seeking a motivated Security Engineer to join its Product Security team. In this role, you will help design secure and scalable architectures, guide other teams on implementation, and build new systems that strengthen the security of Chainlink and the wider Web3 ecosystem. You will contribute to the security of next-generation Web3 products and infrastructure.
What You Will Do
- Create security tooling and controls used across the organization.
- Design, implement, and ship core security capabilities for public Chainlink products, including the Chainlink core node.
- Develop new procedures and systems that make attacks harder to carry out and easier to identify.
- Work closely with upcoming engineering and non-engineering initiatives to ensure security is built into design and delivery from the start.
- Contribute to the company’s wider security strategy and help drive its goals forward.
Minimum Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Go or Rust.
- Background in a security-focused role.
- Experience creating security software or protecting enterprise systems.
- Comfort working in Unix environments, including macOS.
- Ability to adjust quickly in a fast-moving environment with changing tools and technologies.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience writing or reviewing Solidity.
- Exposure to securing or auditing frontend stacks such as React and NPM.
- Solid knowledge of cryptography, including TLS, FIDO, encryption, and public key cryptography.
- Familiarity with security analysis tools and related frameworks.
- Interest in Ethereum and other EVM-compatible networks, along with experience in tooling, hardware wallets, or deployments.
- Track record of contributing to open source projects, ideally visible through GitHub.

All Chainlink Labs roles are global and remote-first. Unless otherwise specified, candidates are expected to overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
