Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for major company projects in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on driving direct sales, growing revenue, and strengthening long-term client relationships while delivering a high standard of customer service.

What You Will Do

  • Promote and close sales for exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Reach out to current exhibitors and new leads through phone and in-person sales outreach.
  • Meet and surpass revenue targets for assigned products and events based on the sales plan.
  • Create and execute strategies to maximize income from booth sales and sponsorship deals.
  • Build new business through non-space revenue channels, especially sponsorship.
  • Record sales activity, calls, and updates in the database.
  • Prepare regular sales progress reports, including revenue performance against targets and activity summaries.
  • Track outstanding payments and support the finance team with revenue collection.
  • Continuously study the market through online research, customer input, competitor events, and industry networking.
  • Understand and support floor plan optimization.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to improve the client experience.
  • Coordinate with associations and trade bodies.
  • Manage agency relationships and support ongoing business development.
  • Maintain a strong presence within industry associations and contribute to special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of GCC experience in the exhibitions and events sector.
  • Sound knowledge of sales performance metrics.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Comfortable working with databases and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Valid Qatar driving license is required.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is QAR 15,000 to QAR 20,000 per month, plus commission.
