About the role

The Finance team supports the business with clarity and confidence through accounting, risk assessment, strategic guidance, and growth support. This role is focused on combining regulatory know-how with strong data management to ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

The company is looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager to help build and maintain a reliable regulatory reporting process as the organisation continues to expand.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and validate regulatory submissions for branches, including statistical returns and other local reporting obligations before they are filed.
  • Support the launch of the entity by designing and putting in place the end-to-end process for regulatory report submission.
  • Build, improve, and maintain effective controls, clear documentation, and strong change-management practices across automated and manual reporting processes.
  • Raise reporting issues with the relevant data owners and coordinate follow-up as needed.
  • Track open issues through to resolution, ensuring actions are completed promptly and appropriately.
  • Keep up to date with evolving reporting rules, assess the impact of changes, and make sure reporting remains compliant and accurate.
  • Work alongside Accounting to align financial reporting and decision-support outputs with future regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the Central Bank and handle queries when they arise.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in compliance or reporting at a bank or another regulated organisation, or 4+ years as a consultant or auditor in a Big 4 or similar financial-services environment.
  • Strong analytical ability, numerical confidence, and hands-on SQL experience.
  • Ability to interpret regulations such as PS Act and CMS, then convert them into processes and frameworks for new and improved reporting.
  • Comfort working independently and taking initiative without close supervision.
  • High motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively across different cultural contexts in a diverse environment.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and deadline management skills, with a strong eye for detail.

  • Previous experience dealing with financial regulators and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory policy.
