Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Dubai Tender Team. You will play a vital role in preparing precise cost estimates and quantity take-offs that support technical and commercial bids for major construction & design-build projects in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and BOQs, to detect cost risks and identify opportunities.
• Develop accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and planning teams to collect necessary information.
• Assist in pricing strategies and value engineering to enhance bid competitiveness.
• Engage in bid review sessions, clarifications, and submission procedures.
• Maintain updated cost databases and contribute to post-tender negotiation processes when needed.
• Manage interim payments, variations, and claims on behalf of clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 10-15 years hands-on experience with contractors in the UAE or GCC, including both pre-tender and post-tender activities (mandatory).
• Expertise in tendering processes, market pricing, and procurement for tenders.
• Proficiency in post-contract tasks such as managing interim payments, contract variations, and claims for clients and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost pricing updates.
• Familiarity with software like AutoCAD and Planswift.
• Preference given to candidates available to join immediately.
