About the Role
This internship is based in Gurugram and sits with the Product & Design team for a period of 3 to 6 months. The selected intern will help improve both customer-facing and seller-facing experiences across Snapdeal’s digital products. The role involves taking part in user research, identifying problems, creating wireframes and prototypes, testing usability, and using AI-supported design tools to speed up exploration and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist across the full design journey, from discovering the problem to checking whether the solution works.
- Carry out user research, compare competitor experiences, and support usability testing.
- Build user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished design mockups.
- Work together with product managers, engineers, and designers to resolve complex user challenges.
- Help create, update, and maintain design systems so products stay visually and functionally consistent.
- Study customer behavior and feedback to uncover opportunities for improving the experience.
- Use AI-based design and research tools to improve speed, ideation, and experimentation.
- Explain design choices, share insights, and present recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Students in their final year and recent graduates are preferred. A portfolio demonstrating design thinking, problem-solving ability, and UX/Product Design work is required.

- Strong product sense with a focus on user needs.
- Ability to understand business goals, customer behavior, and product metrics.
- Comfort with an AI-first approach to design, research, and problem-solving.
- Hands-on knowledge of Figma, prototyping tools, and design systems.
- Understanding of UX research methods, usability testing, and information architecture.
- Capability to turn vague problems into clear and intuitive design solutions.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Curious, accountable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving environment.
