Mobile Application Tester

Role overview

Hydsoft CO., LTD is hiring a Mobile Application Tester in Dubai to support quality assurance across both newly developed and existing mobile app features. The role focuses on validating functionality and helping maintain a high standard for iOS and Android applications.

What you will do

• Plan, build, and run functional test cases to verify the quality of mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Create clear mobile test plans and detailed test cases, then communicate them to the relevant teams.
• Identify defects, follow them through tracking and prioritization, and coordinate with developers and business stakeholders during the full development cycle.
• Deliver timely defect summaries and quality status updates, both quantitative and qualitative.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in mobile application testing or a comparable role.
• Hands-on experience testing apps on both Android and iOS devices.
• Good understanding of mobile performance and testing approaches.
• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with both languages usable in a work setting.
• Experience with Arabic localization is considered a strong advantage.
