Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Java engineer to work on Spring Boot and microservices-based systems in Mumbai.

Technical Scope

The position focuses on Java 8 and above, with practical development in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed microservices architectures.

Core Responsibilities

• Build and support Java-based applications with strong hands-on coding involvement.
• Develop RESTful services and microservices solutions using Spring Boot.
• Implement and improve data structure usage for performance and efficiency.
• Work on multithreading, concurrency handling, and robust exception management.
• Handle database work across MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and related systems.
• Create and run unit tests using JUnit.
• Operate within Linux/Unix development environments.
• Provide technical leadership for a team of 8 or more members.

Experience Needed

The role calls for 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
