Role overviewLitmus7 is hiring an Invent L3 professional in Kochi, Kerala for a full-time, on-site position. The role focuses on supporting retail merchandise planning systems, solving complex production issues, and working closely with business and technical teams to keep planning operations running smoothly.Experience requiredThe position calls for at least 6 years of relevant experience in supporting merchandise planning, forecasting, or retail planning platforms, including implementation or support work.Core domain knowledgeThe ideal candidate should bring strong retail planning expertise, including forecasting, OTB, assortment planning, allocation, replenishment, promotions, markdowns, and seasonality.Technical and system skillsThis role requires solid hands-on experience with Invent (Invent.ai / MerchPlan). You should be comfortable writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, including window functions and performance tuning, for data checks and reconciliation. Experience with data movement and integration methods such as SFTP, CSV or flat files, REST APIs, and ETL issue resolution is also important.Scripting and platform knowledgePractical scripting skills in Python or Bash are expected for diagnostics, automation, and building remediation scripts. You should also have a working understanding of Linux basics, log review, and multi-tenant SaaS environments.Incident handling and communicationThe job involves owning high-severity incidents end to end and preparing clear, useful root cause analyses. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, especially when explaining technical issues and business impact to merchandisers and finance stakeholders.AvailabilityThe candidate must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation.
