Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is based in McAllen, TX. The Data Coordinator is responsible for collecting, entering, checking, and maintaining property, financial, and transaction-related data within internal platforms and databases. The role also supports reporting, quality control, issue resolution, process documentation, workflow improvements, and system enhancements to keep information accurate, timely, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, input, verify, and upkeep property, financial, and transactional records across internal systems.
- Track data accuracy, conduct routine audits, and correct inconsistencies by working with finance, operations, and asset management teams.
- Create recurring and one-off reports, and present important metrics in a clear, usable format.
- Respond to requests for data that support analysis, forecasting, and compliance activities.
- Record data handling procedures and contribute ideas to make workflows more efficient.
- Assist with updates to systems and integrations so information remains reliable and protected.
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze information, spot patterns, and investigate mismatches in data.
- Hands-on experience with data entry, validation, maintenance, and working with databases or spreadsheets such as Excel.
- Exposure to data analysis methods or analytics tools that support reporting and business decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-team coordination and process documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to juggle several priorities in a busy setting.
- Comfort using standard office technology; experience with real estate or financial systems is an added advantage.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data/Information Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Background in data coordination, operations, or reporting in real estate, finance, or a similar field is preferred.
