Overview
This full-time hybrid opportunity is for an entry-level Data Analyst supporting sales analytics for a regional team. The role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina and runs for 12 months. The analyst will act as a regional resource for Salesforce (SFDC), revenue, and point-of-sale data, helping leadership turn information into practical business decisions.
Work Schedule
The position follows Monday through Friday hours during standard business time.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and summarize sales data from Salesforce, revenue sources, and point-of-sale systems to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with sales teams on forecasting activities, pipeline discussions, and weekly reporting.
- Evaluate current business workflows and partner across teams to strengthen commercial productivity, revenue support, and cost efficiency.
- Work with IT to assess and manage Salesforce-based sales enablement tools and support the rollout of sales initiatives.
- Use hands-on sales understanding to spot and implement improvements that boost team effectiveness and reduce time lost to inefficient selling activities.
- Coach and assist sales teams on effective use of Salesforce and related sales tools.
- Prepare additional regional reports and analysis as required.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in data analysis and a strong understanding of sales methodology.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to condense complex information into clear summaries.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present information clearly in writing, verbally, and through charts or graphics.
- Comfort handling several priorities at once in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
