Clinical Educator

Role overview

Inizio Engage works alongside a major biotechnology partner across commercial, patient solutions, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide structured disease-state education to selected healthcare professionals and office personnel in primary care and specialty settings. The role centers on delivering approved educational content, following program rules and compliance requirements, and meeting the expectations set by both Inizio leadership and the client.

What you’ll do

• Deliver detailed education on disease states and related care pathways to healthcare providers.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with target customers and stakeholders through approved educational resources.
• Work strictly within compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements in all materials, discussions, and field activities.
• Operate within the guardrails established by the client and collaborate with field partners as required.
• Complete all required Inizio and client training, along with competency checks, within the assigned timelines.
• Record office interactions accurately each day and complete all required reporting.
• Track time and expenses using the designated Inizio systems.
• Keep professional registration and/or licensure current, as required by Inizio and applicable state laws.
• Attend local and national meetings or conferences when requested to stay current and share best practices.
• Care for client and company equipment and materials according to provided instructions.
• Ensure every activity follows company policy, the code of conduct, and external industry regulations.
• Remain reachable during working hours to answer questions and carry out job duties.
• Maintain a valid United States driver’s license and report any offenses or penalty-point accumulation immediately.
• Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as needed, including overnight trips.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
• This position does not include nursing care, medical or treatment advice, or promotion of pharmacological products.

What you’ll need

• A qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.
• An associate degree, bachelor’s degree, BSN, or equivalent work-related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease state or a closely related field; respiratory experience is preferred.
• Prior work in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry as a clinical educator or in sales is preferred.
• Strong professional communication and presentation abilities.
• Confidence presenting to physicians and a range of office staff members.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, plus the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Proven ability to balance multiple responsibilities and territory priorities.
• A self-driven approach with strong personal motivation.
• Ongoing professional development and a commitment to maintaining clinical knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays, and residence within the assigned territory.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.
