Role overview
The Client Solutions Manager for the CPG and D2C segment in India partners with major advertisers to help them evolve their businesses and connect more effectively with today’s consumers. The role combines strategic client leadership, product advisory, media planning, and performance measurement support for leading consumer brands.
Working alongside the Client Partner, this position focuses on strengthening execution and functional collaboration, using analytics to uncover growth opportunities, and creating solutions that support customer goals while contributing to revenue growth.
This role calls for a consultative approach to sales, strong analytical thinking, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, team-based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the Client Partner to design and roll out marketing solutions that are tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Study platform, brand, and results data to generate insights that shape strategy and execution for Facebook, Instagram Ads, and messaging-based solutions.
- Work with internal cross-functional teams, represent the client’s interests on both immediate and longer-term priorities, and help secure the right resources to deliver key wins.
- Act as an external advisor to clients and media agencies by explaining products, best practices, and ways to adopt Meta’s solutions effectively.
- Support branding strategy, audience planning, media planning, campaign execution, and measurement so that campaigns align with agreed business KPIs.
- Define and monitor measurement plans, tracking methods, and reporting outcomes.
- Spot performance improvement opportunities and manage projects across complex workstreams.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key clients and agency partners across media, creative, and marketing functions.
- Handle internal account operations, including troubleshooting issues and account setup tasks.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in brand marketing or media planning for large CPG brands or fast-growing D2C brands, either directly on growth teams or through media agencies supporting such brands. Candidates from consumer tech platforms with comparable experience are also eligible.
- Strong problem-solving ability, thought leadership, and the confidence to influence multiple stakeholders toward adopting new products and ideas.
- A proven record of achieving business goals through effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience managing several complex workstreams while staying highly detail-oriented.
- Comfort presenting ideas, frameworks, and solutions to CXOs, media leaders, and agency stakeholders.
- Readiness to travel within India when needed to manage a portfolio of multiple CPG and D2C clients.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with brand and performance measurement methods such as brand lift studies, incrementality studies, and brand health tracking.
- Ability to apply AI tools to improve or redesign workflows and deliver measurable gains such as better efficiency or quality.
- Continuous learning in AI, including prompt and context engineering, agent orchestration, and awareness of emerging technologies.
- Strong digital and performance marketing knowledge, with exposure to social media communication development considered an advantage.
- Experience applying responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias reduction, and quality or accuracy reviews.
