Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a dependable and energetic cleaner to join the team in Mount Pritchard, New South Wales, Australia. The position suits someone who works well in a busy setting, notices the small details, and takes pride in keeping public areas tidy, safe, and inviting.

This is a full-time onsite role with shifts across weekdays and weekends. Pay will follow the applicable award rates.

Roster

• Monday: 9:24 AM to 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:24 PM to 10:00 PM
• Friday: 9:24 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:24 AM to 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:24 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out sweeping and mopping across shared common areas.
• Vacuum entry zones during the day when needed.
• Act quickly on spills to reduce the chance of slips and falls.
• Remove marks, chewing gum, stains, and dust from flooring.
• Clean skirting boards, corners, and touchpoint areas around lifts.
• Maintain a high standard of floor appearance throughout the shift.
• Empty waste bins and replace liners as required.
• Keep entrances and food court spaces neat and customer-ready.
• Perform glass touch-up cleaning and maintain nearby floor areas.
• Monitor busy areas closely and keep them clean at all times.
• Clean and look after assigned amenities areas.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant brings cleaning experience in a commercial setting, along with the ability to work effectively in a team. The role also calls for someone who can follow directions, work independently, and maintain a strong focus on detail.

Good customer service skills, consistent punctuality, reliability, a sound understanding of workplace health and safety, and flexibility for varied hours and public holidays are important. Experience using floor-care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be an advantage.
