Role overview
This opportunity is for a seasoned Business Analyst with solid exposure to investment banking and asset management. The role calls for practical experience with portfolio management platforms, trading processes, and risk and compliance tools, along with working knowledge of several asset classes.
What you will do
- Review and support business processes used in asset management and investment operations.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to capture needs, shape solutions, and back system improvement work.
- Oversee and refine workflows tied to trade lifecycle activities across multiple asset classes and market environments.
- Help ensure internal platforms and external vendor systems are connected and working together effectively.
Domain knowledge required
You should bring strong experience in asset management systems, ideally Charles River Development (CRD), as well as portfolio management and investment operations. Exposure to equities, fixed income, derivatives, and mutual funds is expected.
System and functional experience
- Hands-on experience with CRD / Charles River modules, including trade blotter operations and full trade workflow handling.
- Experience with Manager Workbench and PMAR (Performance Measurement & Attribution).
- Ability to manage complex account group structures.
- Knowledge of risk and analytics, including risk attribution, risk analysis, and integrations with third-party risk vendors such as MSCI.
- Experience with factor model setup, data mapping, and integration work.
- Capability to identify and close data gaps between vendor systems and client platforms.
- Understanding of portfolio and investment functions such as scenario analysis, asset allocation, security selection index, cash flow forecasting, and IBOR (Investment Book of Record).
- Exposure to end-to-end corporate action processing.
- Investment compliance knowledge, including hands-on use of the CRD compliance module.
Preferred technical exposure
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server.
- Experience in database querying and data analysis.

- Clear communication skills for stakeholder management and requirement gathering.
- Comfort working in Agile or hybrid delivery setups.
- Ability to handle complex integrations and data-led solutions.
