The Opportunity
Cuscal is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Issuing Product Domain on a maximum 12-month contract. The role focuses on shaping payments and digital product solutions so they create strong value for clients and end users. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help turn product ideas into practical outcomes and contribute to Cuscal’s continued leadership in the payments ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the connector between business teams and technology, gathering stakeholder input and converting it into well-defined requirements and user stories.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation alongside the Product Owner so delivery stays aligned with business value and strategic priorities.
- Work with stakeholders to align business needs with proposed solutions, manage differing viewpoints, and keep communication clear across teams.
What You’ll Bring
The right candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys collaborative work and can combine strategic thinking with strong attention to detail. Success in this role calls for the ability to turn complex business needs into actionable requirements and to operate effectively in an Agile environment.
- Strong analytical, prioritisation, and problem-solving ability, with a talent for translating complex needs into clear requirements.
- Hands-on experience in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement and use of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, including handling conflicting requirements and building alignment.
- Advantageous experience with compliance frameworks such as PCI and an understanding of regulatory expectations in financial services.
- Useful exposure to cards and payments systems, including familiarity with standards or platforms such as ISO20022 or AS2805.
