Role overview
Deutsche Bahn is looking for a bus driver to join DB Regio Bus Mitte GmbH in Kusel and the surrounding area as soon as possible. The role is based near your home and offers varied day-to-day work where you help ensure passengers travel safely and comfortably while staying calm when situations get demanding. New drivers and applicants who are not yet familiar with the routes will be given sufficient time and support during onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Operate buses safely and on time in regular line service and school transport.
- Provide passengers with information and guidance on timetables, fares, and possible connecting services.
- Sell and check tickets.
- Inspect the vehicle’s readiness for service, including its technical systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and order before and after trips.
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training as a professional driver or hold a valid category D or DE bus driving licence.
- You have the required qualification under the German Professional Driver Qualification Act, shown either by the “95” entry on your licence or by a driver qualification certificate.
- You can communicate well in German, both spoken and written.
- You are willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- You are customer-oriented, flexible, and reliable.
