Assistant Manager - Safety

Overview

This role is for an Assistant Manager in Safety based in Gurugram. The position focuses on strengthening environmental, health, and safety practices across the organization, with an emphasis on compliance, risk control, and continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, update, and roll out practical safety policies, procedures, and programs that align with applicable regulations.
• Carry out routine inspections at the site to spot hazards early and define corrective steps to reduce risk.
• Work with leadership to design emergency response plans and deliver training to employees on industrial safety practices.
• Review incident reports to detect patterns, understand root causes, and identify opportunities to improve the company’s HSE results.

Requirements

• 5 to 9 years of experience in EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) or a closely related domain.
• In-depth understanding of industrial safety rules, standards, and accepted best practices.
• Demonstrated success in building and executing effective HSE programs.
